What coaching is not

What is coaching?

What is a session like?

What is mindfulness?

What is intuition?

Does any of this clash with my religion? What if I'm an atheist?

FAQs

When the water clears
you can see the treasure
To be mindful is to be deeply aware of the present moment and your place within it, observing emotions, thoughts, and bodily sensations, compassionately and without judgment.
We feel our feet on the ground, the air around us, and a calm clarity within. We use mindfulness in coaching sessions to help the client disarm their fear and learn the difference between outside influences and their own, intuition, so they can create a meaningful, fulfilling life of their very own.
Coaching is for people who are looking for something more in their lives, whether or not they know exactly what that means for them yet. A coach helps you refine your goals and identify obstacles that might be keeping you from achieving them. Coaching is forward focused and action oriented. It's all about making change and creating the life you want, one step at a time.
(Coaches are not therapists. They do not diagnose or treat mental illness, they don't focus on healing past traumas, and they're not the right choice for someone currently in crisis.)

Hi I'm Juliet!

I've been a defense investigator in death penalty cases for over 15 years. Before that I was a professional flamenco dancer and singer for several more. These careers taught me a lot about life and human nature, but also involved a lot of physical and emotional stress. High pressure situations were the norm and most things that weren't crazy intense started to feel a little dull.

So I set out to create a more balanced approach to life!

I was already a Reiki Master and spiritual seeker, having worked with healing energy, mysticism, and meditation for over 25 years, and I'd studied biofeedback and stress management while attaining my Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

I learned more about somatic healing and awareness in the 800 hour massage therapy program at East West College of the Healing Arts, and in my own massage therapy practice (LMT#25482).

My next step was the PCC program at the Mindfulness Coaching School, followed by training in teaching mindfulness and meditation.
